I’ve been hosting gatherings in Vancouver for 13 years—everything from community events to small get-togethers. I’ve tried restaurants, community centres, and neighbourhood houses, but my favourite place to host is still my living room: quiet, comfortable, and great for conversation. Since 2021 we’ve grown the Buddytree community into something I’m proud of, and these Interesting Person Potlucks are the next chapter—bringing that spirit into people’s living rooms. I live with my partner, Laura, and we both love creating a welcoming space for conversations and new connections. If you’re thoughtful, friendly, and curious, you’ll fit right in.
